Of course I didn’t know it yet, as I was only 357 days old, but so shall it be written, so shall it be done my friends.
This is basically going to be a stream of consciousness, so strap in for something that probably doesn’t make sense. Normally, I would post this on her Facebook, but we have a website now ;)
Morgan has by far been the most important woman in my life for a shall-remain-not-spoken amount of years, and it’s actually a bit mind blowing when I look back on our idiot selves in high school, and we talk about being old on the podcast and LORD.
This lady will go out of her way for literally every person that she meets (unless you think you know more about Harry Potter, in which case… yikes.). Don’t get me wrong, she’ll tear your ass up with her words later with me, but she’ll still give you a tip!
On top of being an absolute legend to all those close to her, this is one determined bitch. Watching her push and thrive in her schooling and career is literally inspiring me to do better and want better for myself, and she does all she can to help me achieve that to. You know all those lame posts that are like “real women fix another woman’s crown without telling her it’s crooked” or whatever? THAT’S THIS BITCH!!!
I get that I just said bitch twice in the same paragraph but like, yup. As much as she is kind and loving, if you cross her, or anyone she knows you fucking BET you’re gonna see a completely different side of her. I’m not sure if I’ve ever reeeaallly made her mad in our time as friends, but I think that’s just because she’s honest enough with me that I can kind of at least try to keep my garbage ass in check, and I love that about her.
This year, we had separate birthdays, which means finally getting to throw her a surprise party! She helps me plan everything, and it was literal torture to keep from her, but it was so worth it. The White Freezies were delicious also. But we recorded some little questions with our group of friends, and I think you’ll see from some of the things they say that what I’m saying can’t even begin to touch the impact that she has on people. (It’s going to be a bit late, probably Friday afternoon, but we want to make sure that the editing does this episode justice cause it’s pretty special to us.. in case you were wondering)
I could honestly go on forever about her given the chance, but I suppose I’ll cut it here for everyone’s sake, mostly Morgan’s because you’re probably the only one still reading ;)
I’m so fucking happy that this podcast has helped us get to spend more time together, and it fills me with an overwhelming amount of joy to have the opportunity to reall start to enter adult-hood with you still at my side. Thank you for always making me laugh when I need it, supporting me when I need it, and letting me cry when I need to. And thank you for trusting me with the same.
